TENDER NOTICE NO. HWP(K)/CIVIL/ P-8/14/2010

1. Sealed tenders are invited by General Manager for and on behalf of President of India from approved, eligible and experienced contractors for the following works at Heavy Water Plant (Kota) Post Anushakti -323303, Via Kota (Rajasthan).
2. Name of the work: Miscellaneous civil maintenance work at plant site 2010-2011.
3. Estimated Cost (Rs.): 30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty lac only.)
4. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) (Rs.): 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty Thousand only.)
5. Cost of Tender (Non Refundable): Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred only.)
6. Period of Completion: 12 Months
7. Period of Validity of Tender: 90 days from the date of opening of the tender.
8. a) Date of sale of tender document: From 18.02.2011 to 28.02.2011
b) Last date of receipt of tender requisition: 26.02.2011
9. Last date of Receipt of tender 01.03.2011 at 14.30 Hrs.
10. Date of opening of tender in presence of attending tenderers. 01.03.2011 at 15.30 Hrs.
11. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
EMD for the amount indicated should be submitted in a separate envelope along with the technical bid and should be in the form of either crossed demand draft from Nationalised or Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of " Pay and Accounts Officer or Fixed Deposit Receipts from Nationalised or Scheduled Bank or Deposit at Call Receipted or Receipted Challan of RBI. (If the Earnest Money is found to be in order, then only the technical bid will be opened. In case, the earnest money is not deposited or is not in order the tender will be summarily rejected).
12. Tender documents for the above work can be had from P&AO, HWP (K), from 10.00 Hrs. to 16.00 hrs. on any working day on payment of Rs. 500/- in favour of "Pay and Accounts Officer, HWP(Kota)."
13. In case the last date of sale / of receipt of tender / of opening the tender is declared as Holidays, the respective dates shall be treated as postponed to the next working day accordingly.
14. Tenders should be placed in sealed cover with the name of the work and Tender No. and Date written on the top of envelope and deposited in the tender box kept in the office of Maintenance Manager. HWP (Kota), where copy of NIT is pasted over the box.
15. Eligibility
Tender documents shall be issued only on submission of following documents and fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below:
15.1 Proof of registration with Govt /Semi Govt. Organization like railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in-appropriate class and / or having experience in carrying out similar jobs.
15.2 Latest Solvency Certificate for 40% of the estimated cost of work from any scheduled bank.
15.3 List of machinery and infrastructure facilities available to complete the work in time.
15.4 List of technical staff.
15.5 List of similar works in hand and works carried out by them for the last seven (7) years, indicating Annual Turnover, the agency for whom executed, Value of work, Completion time-Stipulated and Actual.
15.6 Performance Certificates.
15.7 Profit and Loss statement or latest Income Tax return filed with IT department.
15.8 Qualification:
 
15.8.1 Average annual turnover for last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year-30% of the Contract value.
15.8.2 Similar works aggregating cost not less than Rs. 30.00 lac in last 7 years ending 18.02.2011. Maximum three works will be considered for such aggregate and no work such considered shall be less than Rs. 12.00 lac each.
"Similar work "shall means "Miscellaneous civil maintenance work."
16. Performance guarantee equal to 5% of the contract value is required to be submitted within 15 days from the date of issue of L.O.I.
17. Security deposit equal to 5% of the contract value will be deducted from the bills of the contractor @5% of bill amount.
18. Late offers will not be accepted.
19. Tenders can he obtained by post by paying through crossed Demand Draft of (cost of tender document + Rs. 300/-) to cover postage and other charges. Bids can be submitted by post but the bidders are advised to take into account the time required for postal transit.
20. The Bidders are requested to visit the plant and get familiarized with local condition before submission of tenders.
21. Right to issue and to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons there of is reserved by the undersigned.
22. The rates should be quoted in words & figure.
