Sealed tenders are invited on behalf of President of India by Director (Tech), Heavy Water Board from eligible contractors up to 1500 hrs on 30.11.2010 for the following work at TDP, RCF, Chembur. The eligibility of prospective bidders for the purpose of issue of Tender document will be decided based on experience of executing similar work and production of Certificates regarding successful completion of at least one similar work costing not less than 80% of estimate, or two similar works costing not less than 60% of estimate, or three similar works costing not less than 40% of estimate each, during the last seven years ending last day of the month previous to one in which tender is invited. Tenders will be sold to parties who can give documentary evidence establishing above capabilities. In addition, the following may also be produced at the time of purchase of Tender Document (i) Bank Solvency Certificate for 40% of estimate, (ii) Latest Income Tax Clearance certificate or audited statement of account of last three years (iii) Proof of average annual turnover for last three years for 30% of estimate.

The request for issue of Tender Document along with proof of eligibility criteria and documents mentioned above should be addressed to P&AO, HWB along with Rs. 500/- by cash or in the form of DD in case the tender document is to be obtained in Mumbai at the above address. Tenders can also be obtained by Post by paying through crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- to cover postage and other charges. Bids also can be submitted by post but the prospective bidders are advised to take into account the time required for postal transit. The dates of various activities mentioned above will be strictly adhered to and the department will not accept any responsibility for delay in postal transit.

In case the last date of sale and/or the date of receipt and opening of tender is declared as Holiday, the respective dates shall be treated as postponed to the next working day, correspondingly.
