Earnest Money Deposit (EMD):
EMD for the amount indicated should be submitted in a separate envelope along with the tender and should be in the form of either crossed
Demand Draft from Nationalised or Scheduled Bank drawn in favor of “Deputy Controllers of Accounts, HWB (Kota)”, or Fixed Deposit Receipts from Nationalised or Scheduled Bank or Deposit at Call Receipted or Receipted Challan of RBI.
(If the Earnest Money is found to be in order, then only the technical bid will be opened. In case, the earnest money is not deposited or is not in order, the tender will be summarily rejected.) |

Tender documents for the above work can be had from DCA, HWP(K),from 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs on any working days on payment of Rs. 500/- in favour of "Deputy Controller of Accounts, HWP(Kota)". |

| 12. |
In case the last date of sale / of receipt of tender / of opening the tender is declared as Holidays, the respective dates shall be treated as postponed to the next working day accordingly. |

| 13. |
Tenders should be placed in sealed cover with the name of the work, Tender No. and date written on the top of envelope in which two envelops containing EMD and tender should be placed and deposited in the tender box kept at the Office of Dy.Maintenance Manager (Civil),HWP(Kota), where copy of NIT is pasted over the box. |

Eligibility:
Tender documents shall be issued only on submission of following documents and fulfilling the qualifications mentioned below: |

| 14.1 |
Proof of registration with Govt / Semi Govt. organization like railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in appropriate class and / or having experience in carrying out similar jobs. |
| 14.2 |
Latest Solvency Certificate for 40 % of the estimated cost of work from any scheduled bank. |
| 14.3 |
List of machinery and infrastructure facilities available to complete the work in time. |
| 14.4 |
List of technical staff. |
| 14.5 |
List of similar works in hand and works carried out by them for the last seven (07) years, indicating Annual Turnover, the agency for whom executed, Value of work, Completion time-Stipulated and Actual. |
| 14.6 |
Performance Certificates / completion certificate. |
| 14.7 |
Profit and Loss statement or latest Income Tax returns filed with IT department. |

Qualification: |

| 14.8.1 |
Average Annual turnover for last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous Financial Year - 30% of the Contract Value. |
| 14.8.2 |
Similar works aggregating cost not less than Rs.1.60 lac in last 7 years ending 08.10.2009. Maximum Two works will be considered for such aggregate and no work such considered shall be less than Rs. 0.80 lac. |

“Similar works” shall means "Acid proof tile works etc." |
| |

| 15. |
Performance guarantee equal to 5 % of the contract value is required to be submitted within 15 days from the date of issue of L.O.I. |

| 16. |
Security deposit equal to 5 % of the contract value will be deducted from the bills of the contractor @5% of bill amount. |
| |
|
| 17. |
Late offers will not be accepted. |
| |
|
| 18. |
Tenders can be obtained by post by paying through crossed Demand Draft of (cost of tender document + Rs.300/-) to cover postage and other charges. Bids can be submitted by post but the bidders are advised to take into account the time required for postal transit. |

| 19. |
The Bidders are requested to visit the plant and get familiarized with local conditions before submission of tenders. |
| |
|
| 20. |
Right to issue and to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof is reserved by the undersigned. |
