POST NO. 1

 
I. NAME OF POST : CHIEF FIRE OFFICER/A
2. NO.OF POSTS :

01 (UR) for Heavy Water Plant (Manuguru),
Andhra Pradesh

3. QUALIFICATION : Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry plus passed the Divisional Officer's Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre. OR
Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/ London. OR
B.E. in Fire Engineering.
4. EXPERIENCE : Minimum experience of 12 years not below the rank of Station Officer out of which minimum 6 years experience not below the rank of Deputy Chief Fire Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential. OR
Minimum experience of 12 years not below the rank of Station Officer out of which minimum 6 years experience not below the rank of Deputy Chief Fire Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential.
5. AGE LIMIT   Upper age limit is 40 Years ( Relaxation in the upper age will be allowed in the case of departmental candidates with longer experience and outstanding merit )
 

Note : Should possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and must be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of fire engines, fire pumps & other fire fighting equipments.

 

POST NO. 2

 
I. NAME OF POST : DEPUTY CHIEF FIRE OFFICER/A
2. NO.OF POSTS : 01 (UR) for Heavy Water Plant (Manuguru) , Andhra Pradesh
3. QUALIFICATION : 1. Passed SSC or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry plus passed the Divisional Officer's Course from the National Fire Service College or from CISF Fire Training Centre.OR
Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India/ London. OR
B.E. in Fire Engineering.
4. EXPERIENCE : Minimum experience of 06 years not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization is essential. (out of which minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required in respect of candidates without B.E.(Fire) degree after obtaining the requisite qualification i.e. Divisional Officer’s Course or Graduate/Associate Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers, India / London) OR
Minimum experience of 02 years not below the rank of Station Officer in a well established whole time fire services organization after obtaining B.E. in Fire Engineering.
5. AGE LIMIT  

Upper  age limit is 40 Years  (  Relaxation in the upper age will be allowed upto 50 years in the case of departmental candidates with longer experience & outstanding merit )

 

Note: Should posses a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence and must be fully conversant with the operation and maintenance of fire engines, fire pumps and other fire fighting equipments.

The post of CFO/A or DCFO/A will be filled in HWP(Manuguru) depending upon the availability of suitable candidates.

 

POST NO. 3

 
I. NAME OF POST : SCIENTIFIC OFFICER/C
(MEDICAL – GENERAL MEDICINE)
2. NO.OF POSTS : 01 (UR) for Heavy Water Plant (Manuguru), Andhra Pradesh
3. QUALIFICATION : 1. M.B.B.S. + relevant Post Graduate Diploma
    including DRM or equivalent OR
2. M.B.B.S. with One Year Experience.
 
NOTE :
 
1. Mandatory Internship will not be counted as experience.
2. Candidates with Institutional experience after obtaining registration as Medical Officer will be given preference (Not applicable for MBBS+Post Graduate Diploma Candidates).
3. In case of M.B.B.S., the candidates with one year experience will be considered for an additional increment at the time of recruitment.
 
POST NO. 4
 
I. NAME OF POST : SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/B (CHEMISTRY – LABORATORY)

3. QUALIFICATION : Minimum 60% Marks in aggregate in B.Sc. with Chemistry as Principal and Physics and Mathematics as Subsidiary.
4. AGE LIMIT : Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years
 
Note : The candidates who have passed M.Sc./ Degree in Engineering/AMIE/ equivalent or appearing for M.Sc. / Degree in Engineering /AMIE/equivalent (final year) will not be considered and hence need not apply. Mathematics at HSC (10+2) level is essential.

I. NAME OF POST : STENOGRAPHER GRADE III
2. NO.OF POSTS : 01 (UR) – (Reserved for candidates with Locomotor Disability or Cerebral Palsy) for HWP (Baroda), Gujarat,
01 (UR) for HWP(Manuguru),Andhra Pradesh 03 (UR)- (One post is reserved for candidates with Locomotor Disability or Cerebral Palsy) for HWB (C.O.), Mumbai 02 (01-UR, 01-ST) for HWP (Kota), Rajasthan 03 (01-ST,02-UR) for Directorate of Purchase & Stores, Mumbai
3. QUALIFICATION :

Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks OR
Minimum speed of  80 wpm in English Stenography and 30 wpm  in English Typewriting.

4. DESIRABLE :

Knowledge in Hindi Stenography / Hindi Typing.
Knowledge of Computer Application, Data Entry & Data Processing

5. AGE LIMIT :

Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years (Relaxable upto 40 years for Government servants in accordance with the orders issued by the Central  Government.)

I. NAME OF POST : JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR
2. NO.OF POSTS : 01 ( OBC) - HWP (Baroda), Gujarat
3. QUALIFICATION : Master’s Degree of a recognised University in Hindi / English, with English/Hindi as a main subject at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of a recognised University in any subject with Hindi and English as main subject at degree level. OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a main subject at a degree level. OR Master’s Degree in Hindi/English or in any other subject with Hindi/English medium, with English / Hindi as main subject or a medium of examination at degree level. OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as main subject plus recognized Diploma /Certificate course in translation form Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government offices including Government of India undertaking.
4. AGE LIMIT :

Not more than 33 years. (including the relaxation admissible as per the extant orders to OBC candidates  (Relaxable   upto 43 years in case of Central Government servants)

5. AGE LIMIT :

Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years ( Relaxable upto 40 years for Government servants in accordance with the orders issued by the Central  Government.)

 
NOTE : Candidates who qualify in the Stenography test of 120 w.p.m. of 7  minutes duration will rank above the candidates who qualify 100 w.p.m. of 7 minutes duration.

2. ADDITIONAL FINANCIAL BENEFITS :
  In addition to the normal pay and allowances viz. House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance etc. as admissible under the Rules, the Department of Atomic Energy employees are entitled to attractive financial benefits under various incentive schemes. These benefits are provided in view of special S&T status of the Department and reviewed by the Government from time to time.
   
3. AGE RELAXATION :
 
(a) Relaxation upto 5 years against reserved posts for SCs/STs.
(b) Relaxation upto 3 years against reserved posts for OBCs.
(c) Reservation for Ex-servicemen will be provided as per rules.
(d) Necessary age relaxation as admissible under rules will be extended to persons with physical disabilities.
 

(The candidates applying against the reserved vacancies with   Locomotor  Disability  or Cerebral  Palsy  should  have a minimum of 40 percent disability  (moderate) certified by the appropriate Medical Board).

(e) Applicable to Stenographer Gr.III & II
  Departmental candidates who have rendered not less than 03 years continuous and regular services in the same line or allied cadre as on 01.01.2010 are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit as per Government orders.
   
Note : Age relaxation will be admissible only for the posts which fall in the Reserved Category.
   
   
4. PHYSICAL STANDARDS : Candidate applying for POST NO. 01 to 02 should have following Physical Standards. Candidates not meeting the Physical Standards, need not apply.

5. MODE OF SELECTION :

Selection will be made on the basis of initial screening and then qualifying in Written Examination, Stenography Test / Typing Test   (on Computer) in English and Interview.

   
6. The nature of duties to be performed by the above categories may involve working in round the clock shift duties, in operational plants located at various parts of the country.
   
7. Candidates selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted in Heavy Water Board / any of the Heavy Water Plants, but are also liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy as may be required in public interest.
   
8. The candidates appointed will be governed by New Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 01.01.2004.
   
9. Candidates responding against Post No. 01 TO 02, if having driving licence other than the Category of “Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence” have to produce certificate equivalent to Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence from the Licence Issuing Authority / Notification of Appropriate Authority.
   
10.  TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE :

For CFO/A ,DCFO/A &  SO/C(Medical-Gen. Medicine):The Outstation Candidates called for Interview will be eligible for to  and   fro  rail  fare for  IInd Class (GENERAL CLASS) or actual fare  by   the   shortest route whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers etc.    
For SA/B (Chemistry-Laboratory), Stenographer Gr.III, Junior Hindi Translator & Stenographer Gr.II : Outstation SC/ST Candidates called for Written Examination/Interview will be eligible for to and fro  rail fare for IInd Class or actual fare (GENERAL CLASS) by the shortest route whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers etc.

 However, Traveling Allowance is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in Central/State Government services, Central/State Government Corporation, Public Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats.
   
11. While all candidates irrespective of community/group will be considered against UR vacancies, against community/group quota vacancies, only candidates belonging to that community /group will be considered. For this purpose, SC/ST/OBC candidates should furnish Caste Certificate from Competent Authorities. In case of OBC, the certificate should specially indicate that the candidate does not belong to the persons/sections (creamy layer) mentioned in Col.3 of the Schedule of the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No.36012/22/93-Estt(SCT) dated 08.09.1993 as amended vide OM No. 36033/28/94-Estt(Res.) dated 02.07.1997 and the certificate should be in the prescribed form circulated by Ministry of Personal and Training, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.

The candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC should clearly indicate the same in the application (even when applying for UR vacancy) and should attach proof of the same in the specified format failing which they will be treated as unreserved and subsequently representations for change of community status will not be entertained.

   
12. The vacancies shown above are provisional and liable to vary. In case the vacancy position for any category is reduced or even made nil, HWB is not liable to compensate the applicant for consequential damage/loss.
   
13. In case the response is more, the screening will be restricted to those with higher percentage of marks.
   
14. Before applying for the post, the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfill all the eligibility norms. The candidates should have the requisite Educational/Technical qualifications from recognized University/Institute as on the date of submission of the application and should enclose with their application attested copies, certificates, marksheets in support of having the requisite qualification.
   
15. Application which is illegible, incomplete, unsigned, not in prescribed format, without photo of candidate, not having attested xerox copy of certificates is liable to be rejected. If the post applied for is not indicated on the top of the envelope & the application, the same will not be entertained.

1. Application should be made on good quality white A-4 size plain paper and should be in conformity with the format prescribed in proforma given overleaf. Candidates are advised to ensure that the application is legible, preferably typed in English or Hindi only.
   
2. The Candidate’s Name, Address with Pin Code, Date of Birth should be written legibly in English in bold capital letters, even if a Candidate fills-in application form in Hindi.
   
3. The Application and the outer cover should be superscribed as “Post No. _______   Name of the Post & Discipline _________________________ against Advertisement No. HWB/01/2010”.
   
4. PHOTOGRAPH:  A recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the right hand top corner of the application. One additional copy of passport size photograph should also be sent along with the application.

i) Educational / Technical qualification (supported by appropriate marksheets indicating the subject offered at the examinations).
   
ii) Date of birth proof.
   
iii) Experience Certificates specifically stating the kind of work done should accompany the application.
   
iv) Certificates issued by the Competent Authority regarding their claim that they belong to SC, ST or OBC [i) Non-Creamy Layer ii) Validity certificate should have been issued within 3 years] in the prescribed proforma.
   
v) Certificate from Appropriate Authority regarding physical disability (applicable to physically disabled persons only).
   
vi) Discharge from Defence Service (applicable to ex-defence personnel only).
